Introducing new Wolfpack Member Liv!

Liv is one of our newest Wolfpack members and we are so excited to have her on board! She is a physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates instructor, who is passionate helping others get moving!

Can you tell us how you have ended up in the industry?

I practiced pilates for years before I decided to start teaching myself, so aligning my passion of the human body and my physiotherapy studies with teaching was the best decision I could have made! I love teaching all bodies, from 1:1 clients to group classes - anywhere I am helping people move fills my cup! When I’m not teaching or in the clinic, you’ll find me outside in the sunshine, hiking with my fur baby Winnie!

What inspires you on the daily?

Inspiration for me comes from lots of different areas! I am inspired by those in the industry who are doing some really amazing things, but I am also inspired by my patients and clients who show up and do the work daily. As the old saying goes, the hardest part is starting. Find yourself a good team, a support network of like-minded individuals and you’ll be halfway there.

Why White Wolf Nutrition?

I have been using White Wolf for 5 years and love everything about the company. I am a big believer of keeping it simple when it comes to supplements, and White Wolf ticks all the boxes. They are 100% natural with Australian grown ingredients, and don’t compromise on taste! Couldn’t recommend more highly.

What is your go-to White Wolf product and how do you use it?

I have 2 go-to's currently! The first is the Natural + Lean Chocolate Malt Protein blend for my post workout smoothie - perfect for chocoholics like myself. I have also just started drinking the ZEN Raspberry Splash flavour during the mornings, and have noticed such a difference in my sleep which I attribute to the magnesium in the product!

What has been your proudest moment in the industry to date?

One of my proudest moments in the Pilates and Physio world was getting to be a part of the Poise Pledge this year. This project was headed by Caitlin Dunsford (my boss, mentor and friend) and the team at Poise, and provides education to women experiencing incontinence. They created an online platform that offers support and advice through their 12 weeks to a stronger pelvic floor program. Getting to be a part of the shooting day was such an awesome experience, and makes me really excited for what the future in womens health will hold!

What has been your most recent failure/set back and how did you navigate it?

This is definitely more of a setback rather than a failure. I have had to put a hold my own business pursuit on hold whilst we navigate this next stage of life. Whilst initially this was a hard decision, it is the best decision for right now. I have been able to dedicate more time to the behind the scenes of running my own brand, take time to build my clinical skills and jump right into the private practice world of physiotherapy. I am confident that this is a small side ways step to the next exciting chapter of my brand.

Do you have any advice for people looking to improve their own health and wellness?

My biggest advice would be to find movement that you enjoy! Our bodies were designed to move. I’m such a big believer in finding small parts of your day to move your body in any way you can. You don’t need fancy equipment or the best gym setup. Keep it simple, find something you enjoy and start here. Habits are made by the small, decisions of your everyday!
