Made with love, sugar and @whitewolfnutrition vegan chocolate protein🌱 What else do you want for an afternoon or pre-workout snack🤷♀️👍🏋️♀️
-2 tbsp ground flaxseed
-200g dark chocolate, roughly chopped
-80g vegan margarine, plus extra for greasing
-125g self-raising flour
-70g ground almonds
-30g cocoa powder
-2scoops White Wolf Nutrition Protein - Vegan Chocolate
-¼ tsp baking powder
-250g golden caster sugar
-1½ tsp vanilla extract
➡️Preheat oven to 170°C
Grease (vegan margarine) and line a 20cm square tin with baking paper.
Mix the flaxseed with six Tbsp of water and set aside for 5 mins until thick gooey paste consistency. (Aka a flax egg)
➡️In a heat-safe bowl over a saucepan of boiling water, melt 120g of the chocolate and the margarine with 60ml water on a low heat.
➡️Combine the flour, @whitewolfnutrition protein, almonds, cocoa, baking powder and ¼ tsp salt in a bowl and stir to remove any lumps. Using a hand whisk, mix the sugar into the melted chocolate mixture beat well until smooth and sugar is completely dissolved. Stir in the flaxseed mixture, vanilla extract, and remaining chocolate, then the flour mixture. Transfer to tin.
➡️Bake for 35-45 mins. Allow to cool in the tin completely before removal. Store in an airtight container and enjoy within 3 days.
